"I find Manchester a mixed bag. The clubs that I have been to have all had access but its sometimes not using the most direct way, but security always seem more than happy to help you. Most of the restaurants in the city centre are fully accessible. However, where i'm living is right by a road called curry mile and a lot of those restaurants aren't accessible, technically but when me and my friends arrived at one with quite a large step, the staff had no trouble with help from a few of my friends lifting my chair up the step."

"I always have to call up the pubs and bars I want to visit to see if they have disabled access. On lots of occasions I have been told that there is wheelchair access and then when I arrive there isn't."
