Catherine Alexander from Wirral says:
Chester Zoo has recently started charging for carers which they never used to do. I was looking at visiting it but I don't see why I should have to pay for someone to come with me when there's no way I would be able to go by myself. This is not my choice.
Damian Brady from Wirral says:
There are too many obscure disparate websites offering outdated, fragmentary and anecdotal information about accessible tourism. Conversely, many major tourist attractions are often unforthcoming in such matters. Only when information is sought is it provided.
Dean Yorke from Manchester says:
Hotel accessibility in Europe is nowhere near as good as the UK. It is very time consuming to find and book wheelchair accessible hotels in Europe. Accessibility is slightly better in the USA than the UK.
Colin Rabbich from Morecambe says:
Holidays seem off the agenda for me now. I'd love to get away, but it's far too much hassle, discomfort, stress or money to manage. Most people go abroad to sip on a life style a bit more luxurious than what they have day to day 'back home' I view going on holiday now like going camping in the winter - I'd rather stay at home!
